InUmbra is unique because of its pure aesthetics, making the InUmbra moment a very relaxing experience. No pulleys or opening devices hinder the eye.
Easy to open and close: the parasol opens and closes by means of a separate handle.
All technical parts that open and close the screen are above InUmbra’s UV resistant fabric and consequently are not visible when seated under the parasol.
In the first stage, InUmbra will be available for the Gargantua and Arthur tables and in 2007 also as a free standing parasol on a foot. First version available : June 2006.

The included cover protects your InUmbra from dirt and wind.
This cover has three functions:
- to avoid the parasol blowing open in closed position
- to avoid the fabric flapping in the wind
- to protect the parasol from getting dirty
- to let the parasol look good in closed position
- to store away the handle
The cover's material is cotton, for ventilation purposes, the cover is not 100% water proof.
