A shelf and table system in a modular kit form, ideal for the office and the home.
USM‘s Haller modular furniture system was launched onto the market in 1965 and since then has become a world-wide design classic in the furnishings sector. The product‘s artistic character was honored by its acceptance into the Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) in New York (USA) at the end of 2001.
The concept of USM’s Haller modular furniture system is based on three basic elements:
- The ball (in chromed brass)
- Connecting tubes (in chromed steel)
- Paneling elements in eleven different colors and three different materials (powder coated steel plate, perforated metal, and glass)
The modular elements of USM furniture mean it can be dismantled and reconfigured at any time. They can be organized individually and extended using new elements without any problems, even if the furniture was assembled decades ago. This is supported by the retrospectively compatible further development of products, which progresses continually in order to meet constantly changing requirements.
