Design 212 is a new design, unique to Erwin Hauer Studios - not a re-issue. It consists of parallel patterns of circles offset so that, when seen straight on, the cutout circle on the front plane frames the cruciform connectors on the back. This creates excellent light diffusion, and forms delightful pattern variations when seen from different angles.
