Agreeable appearance for walls and ceilings
Design that conveys tranquillity: as a decorative wall and ceiling-mounted luminaire, HELISSA lifts even nondescript areas and sets them centre-stage masterfully. Energy efficiency and a high-quality appearance, topped by a corona effect, produce a convincing design, both aesthetically and economically.
Corridors, passageways, staircases and functional areas: in places such as these, HELISSA accentuates the spatial effect and creates an agreeable impression. Its shatter-proof diffuser made of UV resistant polycarbonate ensures uniform, glare-free illumination. If a slightly more atmospheric mood is called for, indirect light from a coloured corona creates a pleasant atmosphere on wall or ceiling.
HELISSA is available in two sizes (D 380 and 450 mm) that are in proportion to any sized room and provide just the right amount of light. With its textured diffuser, the new wall and ceiling-mounted luminaire boasts an excellent light output ratio and allows the use of fluorescent lamps or compact fluorescent lamps to achieve outstanding energy efficiency. Operation requires electronic ballasts exclusively. HELISSA can also be integrated into existing lighting management systems by using DALI or LUXMATE control signals. Optional emergency lighting units are further proof that HELISSA can be used to solve all important lighting tasks in passageways and functional areas straightforwardly.
Installation and maintenance can be completed simply and quickly in case of both versions. The one-piece diffuser releases without the use of any tool thanks to its twist-and-lock mechanism, thereby allowing fast, uncomplicated relamping and easy cleaning. HELISSA features IP 40 protection and is therefore dustproof and insect-tight.
