The shade is made of laminated birch slats, which are connected by rings of aeroplane plywood.

Secto Lighting has been tested in Finland by SGS Fimko and complies with the essential safety testing requirements which is required by the CE-marking: (EN 60598-1:1989, EN 60598-1:2000 + A11:2000 + A12:2002).
The pendant light cable length is 150 cm. If the shade is black, the cable is also black. If the shade is white or birch natural, the cable is white. It is also possible to get longer or shorter cables for an extra cost.
We recommend use of energy saving bulbs. For example: Philips Pro 20-27 W energy saving bulb in warm white gives a very pleasant light (equal to a 100 -140 W normal bulb).
The maximum effect for a normal bulb is 60 W in all the other models, but in the wall lamps it is 40 W. The wall lamp is E14, all the other models are E27.
The colours of the shades are birch natural, white laminated and black laminated.
For projects and other larger orders we can also supply other colours. These are made by waxing the outer surface with Osmon color wax (extra cost).
