This is a cast iron triangular-section marker, with or without light, for containment and signalling. It can also be used for short periods as a seat.
«Urban markers were in need of conceptual improvement: less trendiness, less historical pretension and perhaps better functional design. We thought of the triangular base because of its versatility. Because of its height and rounded top it can be used as a temporary seat. When we gave it its own light, everything was improved. Not only does it mark a path, but it warns pedestrians that it is there.»

The success of the Finisterre marker is due to the simplicity and solidity of this triangular-based urban marker with safer rounded edges. It is designed for signalling, vehicle containment and as an occasional seat. It is made in cast iron and the wide model may come with interior lighting, thus turning it into a beacon.
Anti-rust cast iron box protected by a coat of black forged paint. Molded glass, highly resistant light diffuser. It incorporates 6 white leds (6 x 1 W) or 120 red leds and 120 green leds (240 x 0,1 W). The Leds offer the following advantages: low power consumption (6 or 12W), low voltage supply (12 volts), light intensity control, consumption and easy on/off span cycle control (as for traffic lights), long light source life-span (over 100.000 h), and extreme temperatures resistance (from -40ºC to +70ºC). The bollard is available in the pavement built-in model, or as a ground anchoring (three screws) model. Delivered assembled with pertaining instructions. The white-light or traffic-light bollard is designed to be used as a beacon: we do not guarantee its daylight efficiency. The traffic light bollard was made in collaboration with the Department of Projects and Services of the Bilbao City Council.
