This pleasantly-shaped street lamp is classically inspired. Both its appearance and the materials used in its manufacture are intended to last. It is made in cast aluminium, extruded in the column and moulded in the lamp.
A diorama was a model used for entertainment which used transparent fabrics and played with the light so that two different things could be seen in the same place. In keeping with its name, the Diorama street lamp also has this brilliant quality. It is a classic while at the same time modern.
Ramon Benedito created an attractively-shaped unit, inspired on traditional lighting lines but made with modern-day materials and technology and destined to last because of its formal pleasantness. It is a highly familiar street lamp that may seem like a unit which has always been around while at the same time telling us something new.
It is made in cast aluminium, has a plastic diffuser and is equipped with compact fluorescent lights. It is assembled on a tapered cone-shaped aluminium column. The light projection angle reduces its degree of light pollution to zero.
