PURIST IN APPEARANCE – formal, strong and clear in design. The tables and chairs share a common identity which encourage people to linger and talk over a meal. The Fino programme encompasses two chair variations and made-to-measure tables. Developing a comfortable, attractive chair is a challenge for every furniture designer – even more so when the chair is not only going to be seen an used alone but in conjunction with a table. Although the tabel and chairs share similar characteristics, each has its own personality. The table comes in three standard sizes (170, 220 and 270 cm) and two widths (90 or 100 cm), but any other size is available to order, offering you the ultimate in individuality; there’s even an extendable version of the narrow table, with tabletop leaves ready for insertion. The tabletop is available in beech, maple, or walnut, in a range of lacquer colours or in frosted glass.

Update 01/2006:
With Fino, COR has developed a programme of tables and chairs that is popular both in the private and institutional sector. Now it is also available in four different precious woods, with either a high or low backrest and with or without armrest. Attractive, matching tables of different lengths with moulded wooden frames have also been added to the range and are available in two widths.

Update 01/2007:
The new Lounge easy chair is more than just an appendage to the FINO family. Holger Janke's shaping is orientated to the successful dining chair models, yet FINO LOUNGE has a character all of its own: aesthetically pleasing, it is wider, deeper and flatter. Combined with a matching upholstered foot stool it becomes even more comfortable than its mere appearance suggests.

The FINO table previously came with a frame made of polished or anodised aluminium. Now, a distinctive wooden frame to match the chairs is also available: in oak, walnut or cherry-wood in two different widths and four lengths. The characteristic sweep of the legs and the floating table top remain the most important design elements.
