Experimentation and research have led to the Mart seating project, which results from a new production technology for thermoformed leather. Two types of seats are available: a smaller and a larger version. Both are available with a revolving disk-shaped aluminium base available in black for fabric versions, or varnished to match the seat for leather versions. A second base version is a cross-shaped base. The restful seat envisages a third type of bright chromed or black varnished steel base. A smaller seat upholstered in thermo-formed leather or fabric is available on a version equipped with wheels.

Update 01/2004:
Mart expands now its finishes with a new version in leather of fabric, besides the heat-shaped thick full grain leather version presented in Milan last year. The new models present an exposed zipper that underscores the design of the seat. The metal base, which in the thick full grain leather is varnished in the same colour as the seat, on the new versions in fabric and leather can be varnished in black or in four different colours: orange, bordeaux, blue and mustard yellow, which can either complement or contrast with the upholstery. The colour range is only available for the ones with the cross design base.

Update 04/2004:
Based on extensive research and experimentation, a new, mobile version of the comfortable Mart chair is now available. The structure is on wheels and has been designed with a metal frame that can be pushed to allow for easy movement.
