Instantly recognisable, linear and comfortable, SELINUNTE is the new stacking chair, designed by Alfredo Häberli for Alias, as is the SEGESTA armchair. They form part of a new family of chairs featuring a multilayer composite technopolymer shell and a steel structure.
The design of the SELINUNTE shell is a minimal version of the SEGESTA shell whose enveloping line is given extra lightness by the hole in the chair back and then curves to form armrests.
The shells of the SELINUNTE and SEGESTA chairs are supported by a steel structure with 4 legs or a runner. Two new castor-mounted structures have also been introduced, one on 4 castors and the other on 5, both of which swivel and can be adjusted for height.
