Over two years ago we comissioned Peter Horn to design a visitors and dining chair, unfortunately Peter's design slept in one of our drawers. We just could not decide to enter the saturated market of large quantity visitor chairs, which seemed to be in the hands of the few large global players.
A desperate architect from Berlin convinced us to revise our decision. He had considered some 50 chairs for a large project and none pleased him. They were either cheap and looked it, or they were too high a price for a client who needed 800 chairs. We accepted the challenge and are now producing a chair that satisfies a difficult brief. Staple chair will be available in beech, black ashe, smoked oak, the rare olive ashe and in black cherry.
