The club chair S 35 by Marcel Breuer – a classic of furniture history presented in a new look.
The company Thonet, situated in the Hessian city of Frankenberg has been producing the elegant club seat S 35 and the accompanying stool S 35 H with tubular mesh since 1930. It was designed by the famous Bauhaus instructor and architect Marcel Breuer. In the product catalogues from the 30s the chair was called the B 35. The design of a chair on a skid-type base with a suspended seat is seen as early as 1928/29.
