The Low Table Program 010 was designed in cooperation between Dieter Rams and Thomas Merkel. The low table set consists of a high and a low table, which can be placed below one another. The two runners result in lateral spaces, where it is possible to store newspapers and magazines. The lower table can be slid under the high one and is thereby guided by it. The low table set is well-complemented by a bench. Of course the tables can also be used individually as desired. The Low Table Program 010 can be excellently complemented by the Lounge Chair Program 620 by Dieter Rams, however its subtle design also permits it to be used in various situations. The bench is an ideal complement to larger upholstered furniture and serves as variable shelves, like the low tables, which can be adapted to individual needs through increasingly more new grouping options.
