Vågspel coat hangers are used to hang up coats or jumpers in the workplace or in conference rooms. The characteristic waveform in wood is derived from the Vågspel magazine rack. The hangers are made of moulded birch or beech with black or silver-grey wall brackets, or mounted on a floor stand. The Vågspel series has become a signature series for Materia. Several of the products in this series have received designed awards and are represented in museums.
