Is it possible to relax after a hard day in a chair that is not only good for your body but is also easy on the eye? It is with Lindbergh, the new recliner from Wittmann. The appeal of this design from Austria’s Kai Stania and Christian Horner lies in the visual harmony expressed by the clear, cubic form.
This chair, with its bluff masculinity, incorporates the well-tried mechanism used in Wittmann’s Tessa. The seat can be infinitely adjusted down to a fully reclined position and the footrest swings upwards automatically. The headrest can be effortlessly adjusted to any position and is held in place by magnets, ensuring maximum comfort.
A selection of three different leg styles means that Lindbergh can adapt to any home or architectural setting. Beech legs lend the recliner an air of calm and reliability, making it the perfect addition to any well furnished room. The sleigh runners give it verve, and an ageless, no-nonsense look. The swivel base adds an unusual twist, and will appeal to anyone who values modern yet timeless lines.
